I initially bought the 2.5 oz. bottle, which is really more bang for your buck (I’m generally always about bargain).
It took me roughly 9 months to get through it.
Mind you, in those 9 months I have been a redhead, brunette and blonde.
I have stepped out on this product on occasion for coloured powders.
But always seem to come back to my tried and true.
I picked up the mini-to-go 1 oz. at Sephora the other week as I preferred the wee bottle bag friendly size.
And I must say there is a a vast difference in application as the travel size distributes the powder with far more ease than the larger sized bottle.
This is key.
But not really key enough to make me keep purchasing the nugget.
So, MacGyver solution states: Keep baby bottle. When empty, buy big daddy bottle to save scrilla and re-fill the short stack!
Wham. Bam. Thank you ma’am.
I have been a hair powder preacher for at least half a decade.
I have experimented with my fair share.
Bumble & Bumble, KMS, René Furterer, Stila, Orlando Pita, hell… even good ol’ Baby Powder.
Keynote: Nearly all of the above (or worthy of trying) are in aerosol cans.
Which pretty much is a big fucking waste of money.
Unless for some bizarre other-worldly chance you happen to get your paws on the O.G. Bumble & Bumble powder.
The magical mystical highly coveted first formulation squeeze bottle unicorn hair fluffer life saver holy grail of grails.
Then, cop that shit.
Pray to it.
Because it’s the fucking Messiah of hair powders.
(on a rare sort of day when the clouds part and the sun shines and there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, Ebay will auction one of these bad boys - and you better swoop in. eagle status. because you’ll thank me.)
